Homer
In order save my rear brakes from cooking at Pod, I just bought a Hurst line lock kit. However on the instructions it states: "It is not recommended to install the Hurst Roll/Control on vehicles equipped with anti-lock or split diagnonal brake systems". Is it really not recommended to install these kits on Supra's? I know a few here have line lock with ABS enabled, so why the warning? Lucifer
You will over work the ABS actualtor. Simply Pull the fuse.
Lewis
But the supra is also a dual system isn't it so I guess they are saying don't use it (twice)

Ian C
The Supra isn't split diagonal, it's got four independant brake fluid lines. So that's alright as long as you plumb it into the right two lines -Ian
Homer
Thanks Ian, was hoping you'd spot this Any comment regarding the ABS function, should ABS be disabled prior to using lock up?
Matt Harwood
Actually, you only plumb it into the one front brake line. And I really can't see why it would have any effect on the ABS system. All it does, is prevent the front brake fluid releasing when the pedal is released. It's not as if the brakes are actually on once you start a burnout... Fine on my car anyway.
Ian C
You mean you plumb it into the line coming off the master cylinder just before it splits into two It's still a four line system If the brake pedal isn't pressed, the ABS system doesn't cut in so I agree with Matt on that. -Ian
