Supragal
Really?? Didn't know that. What did you make of the job they did? Personally I wasn't happy with my re-spray, which seeing as it cost me £2300 and was a simple same colour re-spray was a joke. Little things like I told them to make sure they took all the windows out and replace the seals. They took the windows out, got overspray on the dash(!), and put the old seals in so they didn't have to replace the quarter windows which they then scratched. They were the last garage to do any mechanical work on my car, and the will be the last garage to do any mechanical work on my car. I've just totally lost faith.... I agree. It was not good enough. There are runs and bubbles that will need re-doing. It's not bad, I've seen far far worse but it's clearly rushed. You do have to look for the faults but they are there. They fitted my FMIC as a "sorry we're taking so long" but OMG Ian C nearly died laughing at how they had done this, they'd plumbed the return feed to teh power steering into breather pipe from the battery!??! Christ knows what they were thinking. They tried to return it with no windscreen - it broke apparently when they took it out. Sorry, that was my fault how?? Na, wasn't impressed. Shame because they did seem to really want ot help me. Nowhere near worth what I paid. But then I'm used ot getting screwed over by paintshops now!! Soonto_HAS_soop
Allegedly. I want video proof to be honest, of the so-called "Supra" that Rosie has Gaz. I want a photo of the car, with rosie infront of it, with a hovis on her head....

Christ knows what they were thinking. The battery drain tray thingy. It was more rage and fury and wanting to punch the person who did it than laughing, but yeah, it's one of the worst cockups Ive ever seen. They even cut the hose to length, so it's not like they simply put it on the wrong hole. -Ian
Scoboblio
Just seen this.... soooooo glad it's running Rosie As I've read on I'm not sure if I should be giving congratulations or commiserations, but getting it running smoothly is a big victory Good luck with the rest of it! Supragal
Been up there again today, had to remove all the injectors (long story!) and put mine back in, so changed back to my HKS spark plugs and plumbed the FCON and boost controllers etc back in and it runs like a dream now. Spot on. Very pleased. Interior tomorrow

Supragal
Ok, fitted loads of trim last night, sorted some wiring gremlins so my fog light works again now. One question though, the interior light and the ignition barrel stay on constantly therefore draining the battery, I know they are on teh same circuit but apart from teh doors where are other switches taht might be stuck/faulty? SteveR
Poo poo. There must be some cleverness to the whole interior light/ignition bareel light thing - it seems to have a timer that runs for a certiain duration, before it then fades out (assume the fade is done with a capacitor). Anyway I digress - try locking the doors as that always overrides the timer on mine and fades the lights out straight away. Al.ternatively if that doesn't work, switch the interior lights (don't forget boot) off completely with their switches. I guess a door contact switch is on its way out maybe? Supragal
Ohhhh shite. Are you saying that it turns off based on the door locks turning rather than the doors being physically closed????
Homer
Ohhhh shite. Are you saying that it turns off based on the door locks turning rather than the doors being physically closed???? I've just had a look in the manual, the switch for the doors is located on the door latch attached to the car. Maybe when the latches were refitted they were not plugged in? Supragal
I thought we'd checked that- what I'm getting at is do you actually need to shut the door or lock the door for the lights to go out? ie if you shut the car but forgot to lock it overnight would they stay on?
