;) only pulling your leg my friend. Is it any good ?

Mike

Shouldn't that be 'only pulling your wooden leg'?

I thought it was very good. My partner said she didn't think it as good as the first one though. I was very impressed with the baddie pirates. Huge and impressive amounts of imagination went into them.

Really looking forward to the third part.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pirates_of_the_Caribbean:_Dead_Man's_Chest

"Tia also gives Jack a jar of dirt. She tells Will the legend of Davy Jones, that he had cut out his own heart because of love. She also explains that Davy Jones cannot set foot on land for another decade, so the dirt in the jar is the land that will protect Jack."

See, that's what I thought. It just seems a bit daft. Jones wouldn't be touching the dirt, only the jar.

Besides, Davy J's pirate crew can set foot on land so how could the jar of dirt have prevented them from getting it?

I wasn't impressed, first one ROCKED but that one... nah.

I agree, it was a hotch potch of about nine *really* badly thought out plot lines all competing for the limelight... I thought there was so much going on it left hardly any room for the wit and charm the original had... but yeah, good characters in Davy Jones crew... and Depp is always a winner..

not sure what 'the kids' will make if it? I'd hate to have been a parent trying to explain that lot... :D
