supRo
Went to see a Ford Focus (MK1) Automatic for my brother who is looking to buy one. I noticed the pads (Both) don't sit flush with the discs! The pads were sitting flush only nearest to the hub and then they curve in so the pad area nearest to the outer edge of the disc don't sit flush - At least 7mm gap. Is this normal for a Focus Automatic? There was cloncking noises when you press the brakes, from the Calipers or the brake cylinder I think The Discs had a bit of lip to them but seemed flat and no ripples. Thanks, Ro

Guest Mikethevice
sounds like they have had uneven wear to me. id personally walk away. the discs may have been changed due to warping but the pads retained. i had a focus mk1 and mine was never like this.
