Charlotte
Mike's just had a massive electric shock off one of our lights. It was fairly frightening. Errmmm is there anything you should or shouldn't do afterwards, (apart from getting the electrics checked) I mean for your body etc.

Ian C
If there are any contact burns, go to casualty and get your heart checked out. If not then sit down and relax -Ian
Pete
I once tested a faulty PSU by plugging it into the mains. Sadly as I held it in my hands and flicked the switch 240v flew through my body and I sat there shaking until (thankfully) it fell out of my hands. I still have the burn marks where I was holding it, the smell was awful. I swear that's why I get funny irregular heart beats now, althought the docs say it's normal after ECG test etc. I remember sitting there thinking "ughghghghghgiughgihguguhghguhg" - which is coincidently what I was saying apparently. Laura
Checked internet nothing particularly, more to do with shock/burns etc. Get him to relax and don't raise his heart rate for a bit!
Pixelfill
This wasn't doing the Supe fog lights was it - I feel so guilty Seriously though that's not good to hear, I hope he's okay. What exactly happened? Mike
Charlotte
If not then sit down and relax -Ian He is now sitting down, looking a bit peeky. He just went really white and was shaking, hold chest etc. I've never heard him scream out like that before. No burn marks though so I can't imagine what yours was like. He had hold of his ipod and went to switch the light on (one of those nipple mental switch things). Obviously the electrics need checking. Get him to relax and don't raise his heart rate for a bit! To relax, he's now playing outrun on the psp - not sure whether this is a good thing or not!

Charlotte
Thats not good if he got a big bolt just off a light switch! Did the electrics trip out when it happened Charlotte? Ooo I'm loving this multi quote thing! I know, I'm not sure why it happened. Electrics didn't do anything but they definitely need checking, this is the house that jack built. The flat has been randomly worked on by so many people it wouldn't suprise me if they are faulty. hi charlotte where are you based ? im a sparky buy trade . as was said before should go see a and e to get heart checked out . Portsmouth, where abouts are you?
