Smudger
Bull Dog were on Watch dog a couple of months back - basically if I remember correctly it was about their lying to customers and crap customer service, and incorrect billing issues. I am with Bull Dog and these are a FEW issues I have had: I have had numerous conversations to take payment from my bank account (instead of my credit card) for my monthly payments I have sent in 4 (yes 4) DDM's in - finally after a year of being with them they are now taking payment from my bank account. I have been trying to upgrade my account for months - was told yes it will be done (you know usual fob you off, blah blah blah) - then everytime I called back was told there was no history of any of my calls - none of them. This month I get a bill for £50 - instead of my usual £30 - I was told that this was an error and only the usual payment bill will be debited - I then receive a letter yesterday saying 'actually you will be charged £50 - there was a big error on the accounts that have just been upgraded, and everyone will be charged that and then credited on the next bill' - hummm lots of intrest for them. Oh a funny one was when the internet was down - was down all day so wasnt sure if it was my computer broken or web down, so I call them and there is a voice recorded message to say 'the web is currently down, please visit our website for more updates' - hello if only I could get on the Dam internet. Dont get me wrong - the general packages are pretty good - but if you need to contact them for anything - god help you and dont wish for a miracle. They are the worst people I have ever dealt with on the phone and also I would advise you to keep an eye on your bills and how much they take out and when - as I have also had problems with that too. I am not saying that everyone will experience this by any means - but its just a few of the experiences I have had with them.
