Muffleman
With the D standing for discrete, but similar performance to BPU. Tomorrow I pick this up http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=76471, it's no good - gotta have a Supra as a daily runner Thing is, I'm kidding myself if I think I won't modify it But it is a daily driver, I won't want the full on Supra experience everday. So, I was thinking, K&N panel filter in standard airbox etc, normal stuff ie fuel pump, FCD, boost controller and gauge etc, but what about exhaust ? If you ditch the cats, what does the standard exhaust flow like ? Or is there a better flowing exhaust that isn't too much louder than stock ? Rayman
Nice car for that price however you modify it!

Rayman
Not sure whether it would be any use to you but what about a sports cat? http://www.mkivsupra.net/vbb/showthread.php?t=66338&highlight=flow+cat
Muffleman
Yeah that maybe a good idea. Anyone know what a decatted standard exhaust flows like ?
Homer
Anyone know what a decatted standard exhaust flows like ? Not great, very restrictive still and will really limit boost. How about a HKS Hiper Silent? It's louder than stock but by far the quietest exhuast I've heard, even quieter than the superdragger. Chris Wilson really rates them. Need4Speed
Try: first cat out, second cat in and Blitz Nür Spec R with the baffle in. Quite civilized!
Muffleman
Hey good idea, then the baffle can be removed for more spirited drives.
Scooter
matt theres a very stock'esq but big bore exhaust on ebay at the moment, looks just the ticket...........21hrs to go, on £100 and local to you too.........
letmeshowyou
i'd say both cats out on a stock exhaust would be worth investigating though. Mine ran round like that for a while. Admittedy the stock one is more restrictive than most after market ones, but the quicker spool up (cos of the cat's being out)made it very nice to drive (plus EGT's wouldnt be TOO bad if you raised boost a little)
