Wittering. The guy who will drive it is Andy Green of thrust SSC fame.Check out JCB s website for more info.... I am working with a great team of guys/gals and am looking forward to the trip across the pond to try to get another world record brought back to Blighty! Dave Haggas
Wow sounds like fun. What speeds are you hoping to reach? The record is currently 237 mph.We reached 201 and still had 2 gears left! And that was in a distance of 1.6 miles. At Bonneville we have a 9 mile track. Our goal is 300 mph, however we are keen to see 350 mph. Dave Haggas
Well what can I say, just got back from Utah and thought I would follow up the thread.Cant believe the words of good luck from all of you! Thanks very much. We all had a good time out there and were very well received by our American cousins. We acheived our mission,350 mph.I have not seen the car at speed yet as when the car was in the queue waiting for a run,I made my way to the end of the course.I needed to be at the end to retrieve the car and pack the parachutes!I can only guess it looked good. CJ you are indeed correct,it was Chris Dee that I was working with,we have worked together on Le Mans cars before. Well once again thanks to all for your kind words of support.
