its a stainless steel backbox and i believe it has mild steel pipework. sounds nice and deep at high revs but nice and suttle idle not very loud. i do like it loads and people get amazed when they see how fat the box is, wonder sometimes i could fit someone up there hehe.

Mmm so its a direct replacement? how loud is it at idle and low revs. i have an apexi not sure what model,i want something louder. anyone got a sound clip on a tt?

its not very loud at idle just a deep sort of rumble and higher revs its loud but not very loud and doesnt do your head in driving fast on long journeys etc. and yes its a direct replacement from the catback.

if its not a big improvement on mine then i dont see a reason to change. If theres a sound clip??? I just wana make sure before i go for it.

You have a sports exhaust already so changing it is unlikely to make alot of difference.....

the Drager is pretty quiet (relatively) but gave me a nice power gain!

that is pretty much right, its not very loud so if your looking for sound its probably not for you mate.

Erm may be something technical like there being no turbo's to baffle the noise from the exhaust ports? Very surprising how much sound turbo's muffle

Yes

Thats why "they" say that TT exhausts are not compatable with N/A's. A TT designed exhaust is far free'r flowing than an N/A designed exhaust because of the baffling effect that the turbo's have. Hence if you want to destroy peoples eardrums (and your kidneys at high speed) get a TT exhaust for an N/A :)

Oh and put the cats out :)
