kosmic
For the second time this year ive snapped my wheel nut socket for my wheelmania pacific rims and am left with the car on axle stands with the wheel nuts loose The socket has 6 splines and fits over the nut as below. Ive been extra careful in tightening and loosening the nuts by hand and still the darn thing has snapped and my car is now stranded on the driveway...just as well that i didnt have a puncture out on the road. The socket is sooo friggin thin anyway Need one of these if anyone has got this type of nut/socket combo and also if any traders can supply me with a proper set of nuts too. Anyone??? TO FIT THIS NUT: http://img332.imageshack.us/img332/5499/1ec5.th.jpg http://img304.imageshack.us/img304/7126/2dp0.th.jpg

carl0s
again!? You must be harder than you think matey. Did you repair it last time like you said or did you find a replacement? As I said previously, if you want to get some (better) photos over to me I'll shoot up to Dave Sheldons where I bought them from and get you a replacement. Carl your a star mate, yeh i had the crack sleeved from an engineering shop who did a blinding job but the twisting force internal ripped the socket in half so its broken beyond repair. i cant seem to take any higher resolution pics but will try with my mates camera tomorrow but if you can ask them for the 6 splined nut/socket set that would be a great help...think i may order like 3 sets...LOL. thanks again matey!! Oh and click the above pics....they get larger and you may be able to print em off???
