Guest supy
Hi all, First post so i'll try to keep it as short as possible..A mate of mine has a 95 jap TT Auto. It has a Blitz TT upgrade conversion (kk450r turbos i think, custom pipes etc..) air filters, exhaust, boost controller and is decatted. Its running standard ecu, pump and injectors as far as i know. These turbos should be good for around 800-900BHP...?? (correct me if im wrong)..He has no idea what BHP its currently running at (wants to run around 500-600 BHP)but boost is running at around 1.3/1.4 bar (19/20 psi) due to the wastegates opening at this. Question is should he also have upgraded the fuel pump+regulator and fuel rail/injectors.He realises he also needs to get it mapped and would the Emanage be good enough for this..?? Is there anything else that needs to be done...Any ideas..??
jamesmark
No Idea but why's your mate not asking this? Oh and erm Hi!!! Sure someone will be along shortly
tooquicktostop
I am not a mechanic by any strech! but i have had a few very modded Jap cars and the work involved to get 600BHP is extensive, you will not achieve this BHP figure with standard fuel rail, injectors or ECU, I think it may even be dangerous to do it as you will be running very lean and could have a lasting downside effect on the engine, I am sure one of the tech guys will be able to tell you much more but take it from someone who has spent a fortune getting big power their is no cheap easy route! He needs to get the cat to a garage show that they can see exactly what set up he has

Darren
Bigger turbos and 440 injectors? and 1.4 bar Surely it would of gone bang...?

Any recommendations on what size of injectors and what Fuel pumps you lads use..??

Any recommendations on what size of injectors and what Fuel pumps you lads use..?? Guess the general idea would be to get the car checked out to find exactly what spec he has got, you may be surprised and find there is more done than you think because if a garage has put on big twins and not touch fuelling then I would be surprised, plenty of bods on here who can point you in direction of a good garage in Ireland? Alex
95 Jap Auto... I'd get PE800cc Side Feed Hi Imp Injectors into the stock rail. Walbro GSS341 or 342 - I'd say you'd need two pumps and a fuel pressure gauge in the dash. Aeromotive or similar Adjustable FPR. eManage Ultimate + wiring harness. (To override the stock ecu) OR if he has enough money a MoTeC/Autronic/AEM ECU.
Alex
Cheifgroover on this BBS has some knowledge of running big twins and is in N.Ireland I believe...might be worth a PM to him.
Alex
FWIW - I wouldn't drive the car on boost till this is sorted.

Alex
Do you think he will be OK with single feed to the stock rail? I'd prolly go for the; -6 out of each pump Y'd into 1 -8 then through 1 -8 Fuel Filter. Then through another Y back to 2 -6's one for each end and then use the stock feed line for the return, out the middle. If the turbo's are capable of 800ish I'd put in a big enough fuel system to cope.
TLicense
Supy, I'm fitting this kit at the moment, and would be very very interested in seeing how your mate's car has got all the hoses to/from the turbo's. Is there any chance of some pics at all?
