It's a little box that gets wired in etc... I used to have one on my old pulsar. The needle would jump around all the time and the speed was inconsistent. Rewired it several times, tried running an earth directly onto the car etc with no luck. jackso11 Posted July 30, 2006 Share Posted July 30, 2006 When I bought my supra I had it done as part of the deal. They guy used a cheap £40 quid one and the needle wasal over the place. I had him 'fix' it 4 times by changing the converter and eventually got him to give me £40 cash instead and put it towards a THOR converter. The good thing about the THOR ones is that they have 2 feeds coming off them, one is KM and one is miles.....which means you can send the miles feed to the speedo and the km feed to the digital ODO if you have one. That way it carries on clocking up the KM's while your speedo reads mph. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
