jamesmark
Wasnt it Martin aka Lucifer? I enquired but it was a straight NO lol, there is a guy on flea bay that does it, for
Jim_1979
tbh, this annoys me too. Once I get the car converted, I know someone with a mph odo... will just use that. Obviously with photo evidence of what the mileage was in km before swapped over etc... (for future buyer)
jackso11
changing the odo without a proper certificate from the DVLA is just classed as 'clocking' though and will prob harm future sale price. My current set up is the ODO is km and my speedo is mph. This is set up with a THOR converter as it has 2 output feeds, one in miles and one in km so you can keep the digital odo working as it should even witht eh speedo in mph......but I am picky and so I want to get the ODO display in miles
Jim_1979
ah cool..... So you can have the odometer in kilometres and the speedo in miles?... that sounds decent enough!

jackso11
Or if someone proffesionally fits it, like what I did i got them to make sure they documented the KM's yes I had a prof. fit it....but all they can do is write down the kms on the clock before fitting it and then hook up the miles feed.....which means if you ever want to know how many miles the car has done you have to minus the original value to find out how many have been done sice having the converter fitted, then convert the original Km's to mile and add the two values together!! to much hard work....stil the km feed to the od and then you will always have a true value. jamesmark
I went for the cheaper option and got a garage to fit my delimiter and convertor and they put the KM on it so when i come to sell just need to do a small calculation, there is people that do it but charge what they like, I pm'd opne member that tried to ask for £130 for it
Ian W
my odo is in km and speedo in miles. i don't really see any reason to change it as it would just complicate things. anyone looking to buy the car should know by then it's an import anyway.
