RedM
For days now I've been getting calls from this number: 08000641081 AS many as three times per day. A quick Google reveals that it's not worth answering. Just letting you all know.

Soop Dogg
Funny - I just had one from 02920 368700. Google shows this up as scammers. Just registered with TPS to hopefully prevent nuisance calls.
Mike
Just registered with TPS to hopefully prevent nuisance calls. It doesn't.... Seems to work better on a land line.. these peeps use random dialers on network number ranges...
letmeshowyou
talking of nuisance calls, if you get tyres at Kwikfit and they ask for your phone number when you pay, DO NOT GIVE IT TO THEM!

Marco
call after call, do you want kwikfit car insurance, and they just don't give up! I had a phonecall from them. I just said I don't have time. So she asked if it would be better if she called back next day? I said don't bother calling me again. And they never did. I found it suspicious when I had to give my phonenumber, next time I just make something up. If I ever use them again that is...

kieren1234
best thing to do is if they say " is so or so there" just say i will go and get them for you and just leave the phone on. They soon get the message after bout 15 minutes waiting!
Thorin
Asda once asked for my address and phone number when just buying a DVD, I declined and they treated me suspiciously! WTF? It's suspicious them asking me for my details in the first place!

I think they take your details now when buying a telly now don't they, to report to TV licensing? Maybe it was something like that. Never had it just buying groceries. Ark
It doesn't.... Seems to work better on a land line.. these peeps use random dialers on network number ranges... I work for BT, so I love it when they do this and our numbers come up - we can sit and hear the phones go off, working their way along the office, but they ring off quick-time when you say "You just called BT, and we can tell you are war-dialling, so cut it out before we cut you off!"
