GazzaGSi
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&ih=004&item=140009892032&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWA%3AIT&rd=1 It isnt my auction but made me realise your best off just advertising it in your local newspaper or something. Complete waste of time. I was 'watching' it as I had one for sale and wanted to see the price difference. Chcked this morning and it sold for over £1000! Wonder if the asked to send it to Nigeria! Bloody morons.
Guest mk47
if you see the question asked to buyer he replies mentioning "i would assume it would work in africa" so definately a scammer!
toyotasuprauk
Looks like someone is going to get ripped off! Sick of ebay at the moment too.
Bob
Just sent the seller a warning about the scam. Hope it's not too late!
Angarak
From what I read of the question, sounds like the seller will be getting a fake paypal email anytime soon. You have to ask who would pay over a grand for a phone when the ad states its £615 from Nokia.com.
osso
Anyone who thinks they've just sold a mobile phone for over a grand to a genuine buyer must be pretty stupid.

GazzaGSi
Bah, think I'll stick to either selling things here or in the local papers from now on!
MrHanky
This has happened to me twice before. It is so tricky to sell technological items as they are the things that scammers are always after due to size to value ratio. Theres not much you can do apart from never use 'buy it now' as this takes away your ability to cancel a bid and continue as normal. This really pisses me off too Mark
