Supragal
OK, old fuel is now drained from the Supe... but what do I do with it? I know household waste will take old oil do they take petrol too anyone know? I was thinking about using it in the Rover, is there any way of telling if it's useable for that ie still fresh enough? toyotasuprauk
I would put it in your rover.

Supragal
I would put it in your rover. How can I tell it won't break that too? If indeed that is the problem with el Supe...
Paul_SWZ
Blimey LOL if it looks clean its fine but if its gone sludgy just leave it in an open container and most should evaporate away pretty quickly. You could just keep it and use it for starting BBq's etc
edd_t
set light to it. and get the marsh mellows ready
Supragal
Err theres like 4 canisters full of it... not sure I've got anywhere where I can just leave it to evaporate! no sludge visible but I'm pretty sure the pump and filter will be gummed up with it. Paul_SWZ
Then just take it to ur local garage and ask them to get rid of it for you. They will have a tank somewhere for old oil and fuel etc.
Supragal
could try that if I can find a friendly local garage

Ark
Did you know that petrol has more explosive potential than dynamite? I don't know why that's relevent, but I just thought I'd mention it. Probably not a good idea to leave it lying around in the garage though.

Rob
Sell it outside your house, at 58p a litre. Hmm, is that legal? you already bought it and paid your dues to HMC&E. Sell it to some gippos, what could wrong with that deal?
