Dave F
Fitted the front s steel lines to the car tonight but when joining the line to the flair nut there seemed to be a threaded section still visible. This was the case with the original rubber hoses just wanted to make sure this was OK as I seem to remember someone saying no thread should be visible. Dont want to chance anything with brakes! Dave F
There was no resistance when joining the two which is the normal problem by the way.
ChrisSZ
The 'cups' on the ends of the Goodridge hoses are less deep than on the standard ones so you will have thread showing. Shouldn't be a problem mate - I did all 4 of mine a few days ago and had similar concerns. Definately improves brake feel though :) I also changed the brake fluid at the same time:) Quick Q - why only the fronts??

Probably do the rears tonight as I felt a few spots of rain last night and gaveup in case of a downpour.
Dave F
After our chat on doing these at bluewater I was convinced I would have the same grief you were telling me about but so far so good. Mind you rears tonight so there s still a chance:d Thanks for putting my mind at rest fellas.
