spackrackman
I just cleaned my car properly for the 1st time a couple of days ago. I remember getting some wax on the boot rubbers and so wipping them off I also hosed down the arches and got lots of dry mud from the arch rims. anyway.. I live on a bad drive and its quite rough on the way down, Ever since my cleaning I have got this really bad squeeking noise. BAD enough for me to stop the car 5/6 times to see if there is anything catching on the wheel or hanging from the chassis. On the way back up the drive, i popped the boot and the noise stopped.. well i had the clattering of an open boot but the noise seemed to stop. Has anyone experienced this.. is is common to have to replace these rubbers, mine are craked but not that worn.. amazing how loud this noise is. jonnie
