Seb Posted July 25, 2006 Author Share Posted July 25, 2006 Actually I wasn't supporting anyone - I organised a shoot so we could feature it in the magazine I write for. It supported the BMW bikes in this year's Dakar and is a very cool piece of kit. Tiff Needel broke the rear suspension when he drove it for Fifth Gear, so I couldn't go very far or very fast, but got to drive it at the test centre where we were shooting. It weighs 3 tonnes, so it's not especially quick unless you cane it, but the straight through exhaust sounds good, even on a diesel! Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Ark Posted July 26, 2006 Share Posted July 26, 2006 He's an ex-racing driver, with tv shows pciking up his damage bills, of course he has no sympathy! He's on a winning ticket with cars! Did anyone see him blow up the Soarer D1 drift car? Poor car. Shows he's not all that really - all that power sliding he does is really poorly controlled when you see him measured up against drifters, even the amateurs.
