michael
I've had a bit of a wander around the archives but don't seem to be able to find definative answers - apologies if I missed something. Anyway.... Drivers side front shock is leaking on my '94 UK so I need a new pair of fronts - car appears to have the standard black items on but I want to consider uprating at the same time (obviously all 4) - what options do people normally go for? I've heard mention of some optional yellow Bilsteins - are these still available? KYB seem to come up in conversation and I notice Fensport list some "self adjusting" examples, however Pete @ Thor has some better KYBs for the same money, are these available in the UK yet? Koni - again Fensport mention these - has anyone tried them? Ideally I'd like to stiffen and lower a bit to help combat this on the track - my initial thoughts were to just go for Eibachs but this seems like an ideal opportunity to do the job a bit better (but with a fairly low budget) - any input would be appreciated. The Whiteline kit seems very reasonable but how long does it usually take to arrive from overseas?
Billy
I have just had Chris Wilson’s set up fitted it is just superb it feels like a completely different car turn in is just great and on long high speed corners the car feels planted to the road its also a much nicer ride at low speed round town it lowers the car just enough to get all the benefits without grounding issues truly a great mod twelve hundred quid well spent
sinbad
mcanny I've the exact same issue. MOT man spotted front right was leaking but let it pass, but I now feel the need to play. CW's sound like the dogs but I want something that I can fit myself and also would prefer a setup for a few less £££. How is that dollar excahange rate now. Yeah it's not proving to be a good month Brake disks on order, headlamp full of water (already replaced the other), turbos on the way out, shocker knackered and new rear tyres needed..... sometimes it feels like a can of petrol and a match would be a better solution! Gaz. I had a supplier lined up for a set of 4 yellow Bilsteins but he's just let me down, I thought we had a verbal agreement that I wanted them at 5pm last night, I try to call with my credit card info this morning and he's sold them to someone else - cheers The Espilir springs sound a bit pricey for me at the minute to be honest, I'm sure they are a good price for what they are though - are the KYB AGX's the ones you can adjust while they are on the car or the gay 'self adjusting' ones that Fensport supply? Can I have some free lowering springs if I buy 4 shocks? A sticker? A cup?

As with everything there is always the option you want and the one you can afford, it seems some on here have a pot of gold to dip into as necessary but I only have a whisky bottle full of coppers so I'm on a budget - the CW setup would be very nice to have but sadly it comes in far too expensive for me right now. I was thinking the Whiteline kit might be a viable option but then when the yellow Bilsteins came up I thought I was on to a winner, gutted to have missed out there

Hi Michael, the KYB shoxs are on car adjustable, 4 way I believe. I am currently placing an order for some KYB's AGX shox's for another customer sometime this week so if you want me to get you a set let me know. My Lowering springs should also be available next week if you still want them as previously discussed. Thanks Kevin
michael
I'm very tempted to go with the swanky KYB option but my budget isn't really in order for a full set right now... I'm waiting on prices for other bits I needs before I can commit unfortunately. I'm still v.interested in the springs though.
