Roy
just IMHO n 2p, i would guess this would fit better with a car that has the same design CF bonnet and rear wing (a la TRD) ? o'wise, just that panel in the middle of the roof may look a bit odd ? Rob Davey
This is an age old thread but does anyone know if you can buy these carbon aero tops?
Alex
Not sure if you can yet - search Supraforums and you'll soon find the thread about it.

Pete
It came to nothing IIRC.
Rob Davey
Damn but they look soooo good. Could have been a great time for me to get one. Was it home made or something then?
Pete
I believe it was a one off and the guy was looking to do a group buy and get more done etc. but nothing came of it. I'll try to dig out the thread and refresh my poor old memory if I get time.
Nic
I could probably get them made if there was enough interest, oh and I had a spare aerotop to make a mould from . My only worry would be that the flexing of the car could cause the joint of the upper and lower mouldings to crack if not very strong and rigid. Matt Harwood
My only worry would be that the flexing of the car could cause the joint of the upper and lower mouldings to crack if not very strong and rigid. I agree. The aeros really can flex without the roof panel on, but they're a lot more solid with the roof panel in place, so they must be able to take a fair bit of stress. Ian W
i know it's been talked about a fair bit that a lot of c/f applications are actually backed which makes them heavier. this may well be one of the cases where you could use a backing for strengthening and the c/f just for aesthetics. Alex
DRY Carbon will be way lighter. But wet carbon that's done in a bag might not.
Pete
I'm sure it'd be a challenge to make one that didn't leak as well.

Rob Davey
I'm sure it'd be a challenge to make one that didn't leak as well. As long as it was a good copy the rubber seals would just stick on as normal, so it may not be too much of a mission...
