Righty, another brain teaser for all of you...

I'm looking to buy my 1st Sup that has had one cat removed and one still in.... now I was having a think about this and trying to work out if it was a good or bad thing.

Is it better to...

Take out the last cat and run it until MOT time? (then hope the emmissions will pass under one cat)

Leave the cat in and run it like normal? (although we have a high exhaust flow through a single cat)

Put in the other cat and run it like Toyota designed?

Also, its got a R*SR exhaust system, so will adding/removing cats have much difference to the power output or noise levels??

Why don't you pop down to your MOT centre and ask them to enter your chassis no in to their computer, it will tell them if you car needs a cat test or not. Im lucky as my 93 RZ doesn't need cats :eyebrows: .

Hmmmm, didn't think about that one... although it's a '95 SZ so I'm guessing it'll prob be needing the cats...
