Homer
What, thicker cardboard Well actually... No, cardboard is the same, but the ones from Scooby's NA aero had these huge foam blocks glued to the back of them. It doubled the weight of the entire card as the foam was very dense. The UK cars and (at least) pre-facelift Jap specs do not have these. Maybe its a facelift thing, maybe aerotope thing... They're certainly a hell of a lot more solid than the non foam backed ones. Our assumtion was it stopped the door card flapping around quite so much when the aerotop has scuttle shake.
Ruff_Rider
Thank you Homer. Any idea on the price of door cards?
Homer
Thank you Homer. Any idea on the price of door cards? I paid £20 for a mint one (was very lucky), but some people charge up to £100 each. Really depends on who's selling! I recommend Jezzybabes as he usually has this sort of thing in stock and is great to deal with.
Tattooman
My theory and motto is DON'T do it. If you really must then practice on a write off from a Scrappie first !!!
