kamikaze
Went to JAE at the weekend-no problems parked car up for Friday night.Woke up next morning tried to start but was barely turning over-OH NO NOT HERE! but did manage to fire up after repeated trying.Got my car over to my stand and worked fine for rest of the weekend though i was driving to and forth the camping area a fair bit.-Now this morning ive tried it again and the car barely turns over agin but did eventually start but had 'Flat battery' symptoms Ive checked connections etc Im pretty sur its the battery given up as it looks quite small compared to ther batteries on Big Jap cars. How much am i looking at for a new battery and is there any difference of spec battery for UK and J-spec?
Smudger
Toyota believe it or not are really good to get your battery from - my local dealer (inchcape, so a massive dealership) charged me approx £60 for a brand spanking new battery a few weeks ago. And I think they call it their opti-fit range or something!

kamikaze
think you need to check the cranking amps, think its 465 min for the soop Oh dear may explain it then-its got a 320amps on it!Honestly its smaller than the one on my MX5 lol. Im pretty sure its the battery as i struggle to start it but if i stop then restart straight away it kicks over lovely-leave it for an hour or two it goes back to the 'clicky clicky' lol Ive searched on other threads and someone has said the Halfords HCB005 is a good battery for the Supra Now going down there!
