Pete
I can't believe it took three of them to put the engine in the Caterham! Clarkson is a complete ape.

stupra
I pmsl at this show, tonight was a good one, an the shots of the stig walking around with his lid on cracked me up. Clarkson's like me, I tend to use a hammer to often, thats why I dont do much work on my soop.

qaisar
i like the way the lambo can raise the front end for speed bumps, now that would be handy for some of our cars
Rob
Now if the Stig had actually raced from the Caterham factory, in Dartford about 5 minutes from the M25, rather than the showroom in Caterham, he'd have thrashed them. I was shocked at the price difference between the made and un-made kit-car, only £2500. Say, minus £600 for tools and engine hoists and stuff, then some for oils and fluids. Maybe Clarkson was right, just buy one already built.

Maybe Clarkson was right, just buy one already built. I had no tools or anything and bought an engine hoist and proper stuff when I could. It cost lots for decent tools. Building mine myself was lots of time and heartache - but then it was no where near as comprehensive or straight forward as the Caterhams professionalism. You have all the bits, a manual(!), the holes precut, everything lines up etc. Having an engine that they could just drop in and fire up was a MAJOR bonus! (Even though they right royally screwed even that up.) I'd still build it myself though - such a buzz to have a car you built
Thorin
I must be psychic after the last episode... They'll end up reviewing people carriers like "Pulling Power" if anyone's seen that. This week's was a good one though, that lambo is one of the few proper sportscars I actually think looks good with the top down.
