Try not to speed unless in the correct areas!!! otherwise the old highway patrol will have a word and fine you. Its been a couple years since i was last on waters. Baiter Park public slip is closer to the open sea (once you are past the Sandbanks chain ferry) but it can be a free for all getting out. Insurance / Habour Permit / Tide-Times / mobile phone...have fun:) Oh, and some slips have a drop-off at the end, so if you come back at low tide, youl have fun getting her back out.
