SteveR
I know the Peter Betts method (improved) is tried and tested and recommended a hundred times, but the one SupraSteve highlights in this thread (specifically, here) seems less fuss. So my questions are... Does anyone have a view as to which one is 'best'? Any pitfalls to be aware of? Cheers in advance, Steve who's MoT is due

Supradan
I believe if you use second method without resistors the bulb failure light in dash will stay on,which will prob really annoy you lol Not 100% sure as i did method 3 which uses the reversing light as fog
SteveR
Yeah I understand that the resistors are to trick the bulb fail indicator thing - but apllication of them (and the results) applies to both methods equally. I guess if there is noting in it I'll go with the easest looking! Just wondered if any auto-electrician or other types had anything to say on the matter? Speak now or forever hold your peace cos I'm doing it tonight/this weekend!
TrickTT
You cant use the resistors in the second diagram.
