chriseltham
Hi guys/gals, Will be getting some 19" Pacifics soon and thus will be selling my 17" Advan alloys. I need to know how much peps reckon they would be worth: Fronts: 235/45/17s Goodyear Like new tyres Rear: 265/40/17s Goodyear Like new tyres Not in the best condition but the tyres are basically a new set of Goodyears. Cheers for replies in advance
Nick_TC
The normal rule of thumb is £10 per spoke I believe
chriseltham
lol, i know the rims arent to most peoples taste, hence why im changing, BUT the tyres are A1. Any SERIOUS ideas

Jake
I reckon approx £400, or £350 including the wheels.

Paul
What about stock UK 17's ? Might be flogging mine, some kerbing (no real damage) could do with refurb. Goodyear F1's all round, stock sizes. Front very good tread, rears about halfway through life? I saw some on ebay go for £370, same sort of condition although they had one centre knackered and three or four different tyres. Any idea? Jake
I doubt you'd get £370. I paid SupraAl £450 for my freshly refurbished stock 17''s with as new Dunlop rears. Any wheel that isn't in mint condition is going to cost the new owner £50 to get put right. Folks (on this BBS?) aren't interested in buying even slightly damaged wheels unless they are very cheap. I've got two sets of Std 17'' wheels in my garage but I haven't tried to sell them because I don't suppose anyone would want them.
Paul
Well someone paid £370 for four in a worse state than mine, these have two very good tyres on the front which are worth a few quid, btw.......... Dunlop, Poop ! A few months back some were sold for £250ish WITHOUT tyres. Paul
chriseltham
LOL, I seriously would take just £250. How much are a new set of tyres in the sizes above? Surely its worth it just for the tyres?
toyotasuprauk
Why not put a better picture of them up, might make someone fall for them?
Paul
Originally posted by chriseltham Surely its worth it just for the tyres? It is mate, anyone running these sizes should have them just for spares, quality tyre too. Paul

Paul
Cooooo f*ck me, I only asked an opinion mate! I asked cause I wanted more of an idea than just going by ebay. Not desperate for the money, just trying to decide to keep or not. And yeah, I do consider Goodyear a better tyre and no I ain't an expert on everything unlike yourself Paul

TRD3000GT
snap! had the exact same rims and boutgh the same rims. Avans in blue are not worth JACK SHIT. they are very often a little bit bent or buckled as well as they r three spokes.
michael
Stick a post up in the Q&A on http://www.imoc.co.uk - a lot of the MR2 chaps are looking for wide wheels for drag racing, at that price I'm sure someone will snap them up.
