Look at the ones for Portsmouth - looks like the whole fleet is in. I reckon they were taken shortly before Gulf 2.

 

And for anyone without Google Earth, try maps.google.co.uk

 

I'm not at liberty to tell anyone that this location is the MI6 training grounds. I have no knowledge of the place

I can't get GE working on my work PC but if you type (PE29 6TW) into google maps and zoom in this is quite scary :)

 

It's local to me so it made it into the local papers... was on the register and BBC national news too :)

 

I'd be well piss*d if that was my house :)

 

What a stupid place to park a plane! :D

EDIT : my bad, thats his dads MG, My mini is outside my old house 53.5386046005, -1.34687740567 and the one covered up just at the other end of the drive was my mini i used for spare parts :) ahhh the memories!

If anyone is interested in Chernobyl and what the towns of Prypiat etc are like now, have a look at this website.

 

It's a women who rides her motorbike right upto the reactor. She takes her meter and camera and gets in there. Some of it is quite breathtaking.

to naswer the oringal thing about the m4 ......

it's an old MOd base that used to stage vampire bombers ... it was then converted and is now an ordancne storage for the USAF.

basically as you drive from swindon to readining... you;ll see a aign saying works units only and a long ol drive .... its down there.

everytime they stage out of fairford to blow things up, a greenpeace camp appears there.
