What is this black blob near the M4 covering up anybody know?

Type these coordinates in Google Earth

51°29'52.65"N, 0°20'35.00"W

Someone go there and see.

It's covering part of the lake, some road and a field. Could be something in the field that belongs to those buildings with all the cars parked outside. OR the lake that belongs to that huge complex with the swimming pool!!

Yup here it is

37° 1'28.46"N, 116° 0'57.45"W

That's not area 51, its abit south from there near the salt lake feature, hwoever, what you've posted is the old nuclear bomb test facility. You can see all the underground depressions from the underground explosion tests.

Good find

What do you make of: 37° 38'43.19"N, 115° 47'40.83"W

Im seeing several green-masked areas close to Area 51.

On another note, my search for Osama was fruitless :(

I think those green circles are usually crop fields all over USA but they may have been photoshopped on to hide stuff.

Search for Tora Bora he's in there :D

I found a website once with a load of interesting places to visit with google earth. Some of the best were battlefields, military bases and crash sites.

One actually had the crashed remains of a helicopter.

Duxford air museum is quite good.

What was this website, sounds interesting?
