I'm heading to Farnborough Air Show on Friday and I was getting my photography gear ready and for some reason my telephoto lens aint working.... Any ideas what's causing it?? It's a Nikon D70 with updated firmware coupled with a Sigma 100-300mm IX EX DG f4 lens.... the camera is flashing "-E-" and no matter what I do I cant get the camera to lock into the lens CPU..... adman Posted July 19, 2006 Author Share Posted July 19, 2006 Checked the memory card, the aperture lock ring, removed the battery and installed my backup, tried 3 other memory cards, still showing -e-..... tried it with different lenses and it works fine, I'm guessing lens issues here..... adman Posted July 19, 2006 Author Share Posted July 19, 2006 Hmmm, have checked using a mixture of different cards and different lenses and can definately say that it is the lens which is at fault.... it will be an urgent phonecall to Sigma tomorrow morning to try and get a replacement in time for Friday..... if not it'll be bol*ocks pictures from me!!!
