Ewen
(TT VVTI) Checked pipework in way of the air inlet and MAF sensor this morning, and I've got oil in the turbo outlet pipe. Not a lot, but its coating the inside of the pipe. Is this normal or not ?
supRo
That's normal mate. A little oil is fine.

supRo
Thanks. Actually as it is a newer VVTI car, probably best if someone more technical answers the question!

Alex
It's ok - it's oil from the PCV on the side of the cam cover.

Alex
Just to add if it start chucking bucket loads of oil in there you do have a problem...but a light amount is perfectly normal.
