r1george
How can I keep the active front spoiler from retracting at lower speeds? I've pulled the electrical connection which does the job but now the big red warning light on the dashboard is on all the time. I now people remove these spoilers to fit FMIC's so how do they get on? SteveR
I thought it had 3 modes; auto (position depends on speed) off (stays retracted) on (stay out) I don't have one though so might be wrong.

Class One
Auto/off button out, press down, green light stays on job done. To raise press auto off in, green light goes out, press down again to cancel auto off, green light comes on spoiler down. Easy
Paul
You can get it to come down in manual when engine is not running but the minute you start it will retract. The only thing the manual button does when the engine is running is prevent it lowering. Auto on will make it come down at a set speed. Pixelfill
As Paul says: You can lower the active spoiler with the ignition on but the engine off. as soon as you start the engine it will retract until you reach a certain speed, at which point it will descend (if in auto mode) and will then retract when you drop below the speed threshold. You mentioned that you have disconnected the electrics when the spoiler is down, I presume you mean at the motor end. If you wish to keep it down then you will also need to disconnect the ECU behind the stereo, this will prevent the Red warning triangle. Beware of speed bumps and kerbs though as you are likely to smash the spoiler if you can't retract it. Mike
