dk_supra
Hi there everybody, i have in the shop the following a customer of mine brought me his tired MKIV TT for complete rebuild etc. and he had already purchased a used T51 kit to install on the car. After a series of discussions he decided to go a completelly different way on his vehicle. So up for sale the following items HKS T51R Kai TURBO KIT, comes complete with: HKS Oil return line. HKS Oil feed line. HKS V Band down pipe. HKS V band exhaust manifold. HKS Filter and Intake. HKS 60mm Monster Wastegate (with 1 bar spring). HKS Stainless Steel Manifold. HKS 3.5" Downpipe. HKS Recirculating screamer pipe (recirculates screamer pipe back into bot). Now the bad news. I inspected myself the kit and this is what i found. Manifold is like new, wastegate like new as well. Downpipe is okish condition, i would wrap it again and make it look much better. Air Filter needs cleaning badly, and i wouldn't put the intake pipe that came with the kit not even to my B-B-Q. Turbo is good overall shape, has a couple of chips on the blade, but to tell you the truth, i don't think the buyer will have a problem. I have used in the past turbos in that condition and as far as you don't run 2 .5 bars of boost they don't have any problem running. And as far as i'm concerned this is no Ball bearing turbo so better keep the boost under 1.8 bars to be safe. That's all folks, i can post pics tomorrow, but i guess i'm entairtening offer for this kit, coz the customer just left it to me to arrange everything. Please no timewasters, i prefer to just polish it and put it on the shelf for people to look at it that sell it for nothing. Cheers Dimitri

Peter P
Thanks for the reply. Any chance of any pictures to include the blades please Dimitri? I need to sell the Skyline I have before I can spend that kinda money but that seems a fair price for what you're offering. Will PM if I get the money soon enough to snap this up!! Knowing my luck someone will beat me to the punch!!! Thanks. Pete

TRD3000GT
Looks like a T4 manifold with a V band hotside?
dk_supra
I will take pics of the manifold, more detailed ones. I think HKS did it this way in order to incorporate the T04R turbo as well. The manifold has the HKS adapter on for the Vband. Anyway i'll post pics tomorrow again.

dk_supra
Basically yes, aem, 850cc, 2nd line, 2nd pump and a few other stuff (usually when bpu you already have them) and you are all set. And then a set of hands, coz, it will be pretty freaking fast, and the tail will be ready to break loose at 4th gear. dk_supra
Picture of the manifold as promised. The manifold through my experience should be only like 2-3,000 klm old, no more. Check for yourselfs. Cheers.
dk_supra
Still for sale. Lots of offers but nothing certain. Come on people, this is just taking space in the shop.
dk_supra
Everybody of course is asking for a price, suggested price is 2,400 pounds, but the customer is a little bit flexible with the price. Shipping is not included in the price unless the offer is the asking price.
dk_supra
Still for sale, i know somebody out there wants this, but he/she is too shy to come up front.
Peter P
Just looking at the tubo side so not fueling etc, what items are still needed to perform the conversion, and what in your opinion will need attention/replacing?? Did you suggest that with the correct fuelling upgrades and presumably a strengthened bottom end this tubbie should generate around 800BHP?? I am very keen and will remain so but the sale of my Skyline as I mentioned is the determining factor for me! If it sells in the next week or so I'll be PM'ing you straight away!!!! If this were to be fitted to a stock engine (internals wise, fuelling etc upgraded to necessary levels), what would be the safe boost level to run and approx what BHP would be expected?? Cheers, Pete
