Dash Rendar
Nice choice. I want one too, but LHD is just too impractical.

Bobbeh
Yeah, was gonna say you spend a lot of time over the channel Enjoy it John!
Need4Speed
Cheers Bobbeh, unfortunately a J-spec Supe can't be imported to France and a French spec is rare as hens' teeth and £20,000 plus. I'm going to miss that second turbo wallop! But, top down in the south of France...
Nick1980
He's a member already, but I'll leave him to announce his new acquisition himself - his first Supra! Ah yes, that would be me! I've managed to do about 70 miles so far - first 35 were very slow taking it home cos I was knackered and didn't really want to crash, but there have been a *few* WOT moments in the other 35 Jeepers it's quick! I've only had the boost controller either off or on '4', which seems to be about 1 bar, so christ knows what it's gonna be like on the 3 other settings! I really should start my own thread when I have a chance, there are many people that I've bothered over the past year or so that I need to thank. In the meantime, cheers John, it's been a pleasure meeting and doing business with you, and I feel really confident knowing how well you've looked after it. I promise I'll give it a good home! Need4Speed
I recommend a wet, cold day and turn the boost to 1. Glad you think it's quick... I do.
Nick1980
Well yeah, I knew it would be quick, but I didn't know it would feel like that! Suprised at the difference between 'off' and '4' though, considering it's only about 0.1 bar - the second turbo seems to come in much stronger! Matt Harwood
Sorry to hear that John, but seems that congratulations are going to Nick. A good car that one
geoffvalenti
LHD is just too impractical. Whoever told you that? I've had lots of LHD cars. You soon adapt to it, its no big deal really, especially in something like a Corvette which makes overtaking a lot easier I'd say if you want a car, and it happens to come in LHD only, just go for it. Sharpie
That was quick John - Did you get the wheel in the end ? Best of luck in France
dangerous brain
Right now I'd love a LHD motor being in Holland. It is very easy to get used to especially if you are driving on the other side of the road lol. I'm actually already thinking of shifting my N/A manual on for something LHD.
