Hi

Ive just bought myself a supra at the grand old age of 21. My first car at 17 was a corsa sri, then at 18 i quickly changed to a celica gt. then fancying something different i bought a honda CRX del sol SIR, which was good, but Ive really wanted a supra.

Shes a completely standard Jap spec GZ 1994 Silver TwinTurbo auto and im completely made up, and im never going to get rid!

Should be getting my membership sorted soon to the site, but just wanted to say hi.

Hi and welcome, as other members have said take it easy, the back end steps out quite easily and its so easy to over correct it.

Make sure you keep an eye on your tyre pressures and take the car to one of the Supra specialist on the BBS to get it serviced and to give it the once over.

Your first winter of Supra ownership is always an interesting experience so take it easy when the bad weather creeps in. Always best to have a second car for the winter months.

Welcome fellow young owner!

Congrats. Thats some sort of car to be owning at 21 yrs, but please take it easy my friend :)

Though I've been driving rwd since 12yrs old there's no way i'd be alive now if I had a TT Supe at your age.

Im just 21 and im on my second supra...and no i didnt crash the first one! :D

Welcome aboard!!

Well done on the upgrade to a REAL car (we've all gone down similar roads!) at 21 you've beaten my record in some respects (got my 300zx TT at 19) and I don't blame you on the comment about never wanting to sell it!

Don't think there is a single car I can think of that offers such incredible performance out of the box and is as tuneable as a Supe for the money!!

You've found the right place as well for mods, general advice and anything elsa Supe related! :)

Doubt you'll be keeping it stock for long!! ;) :D

Well done again and all the best with it.

Cheers,

Pete :)
