Bobbeh
There goes another set of dust caps. Sad thing is, they were only cheap ass Ripspeed ones from Halfords after my Blitz ones got taken last year, and only 3/4 of them were on anyway. Yet they were still taken by some pikey. I spose I should look on the bright side, my paintwork wasnt vandalized this time!
Guest Griffo
Gits! Off-road or on-road parking when it happened? It's the principle isnit, rather than the cost to replace
Bobbeh
I have no idea.. this is the bugging thing, its happened in the last week. Its either from around the house (other cars not touched), at work or when I went to Yeovil this week. Trust me it would be nice to pin it down and lay a trap but sadly I dont go around checking the car for bits stolen every day
MR.B
Thieving b*stards! I've got to watch out also - the pikeys have landed on some open ground just down the road from me.
Branners
give up on it, just use cheap plastic ones and put the posh ones on for shows etc. I even saw a kid nicking my last remaining Volk cap when I first threw back the curtains in the morning but he was gone by the time I got downstairs. Tattooman
I know that feeling getting them nicked is a real Bummer..... The problem is with a lot of these caps though is they are Aluminium and after a while due to heat etc they kinda weld themselves to the valve stem and you can't get the buggers to undo even with a 10mm spanner as I once learn't, I had to go to Kwik Fit and get a whole new valve fitted which was a pain in the butt. So I always buy the ones with a Brass insert these days so they come undone ok.
