I've just put two fingers in warm poop !

When we had our first kid, I struck a deal with the missus that I don't do the pooey nappies. Cunning I thought. However, this kinda doesnt work when the missus is working all day. I have no choice. Well, I do have choices but they aren't acceptable :innocent:

Anyway, the missus is working all day today so I'm looking after my little lad Jake, he's not yet two.

Normally the morning pooping process is met with much grunting, him taking a hold of something and going red in the face. Today there was a slight smell in the air, nothing to noxious but enough to curl the lip slightly - so could just be a wee fart ? The cartoon before the main film as it were ? Better check.

So, I put two fingers down the back of his nappy to pull it back and check, thing is the poop had reached the very top of the nappy :faint: My poor fingers, under the nails and all

And now I'm posting on here to put off the inevitable clear up job :(

I suppose I have to go............. Who'd be a dad eh ?!? Still, only 7 hours and two meal times to go .

Haven't you now just got poo all over the keyboard?

Had the foresight to wash up first. Mind you, you know how when you're covered in grease or carrying the shopping in you ALWAYS get an itchy nose ?

THAT was a close call :D

Anyway, nappy done :D Just getting the carpet cleaner out :(

Back soon.

Nappy changed mate, he's done another one since - :fart:

The other side of the coin is that he's a great little lad, and good to be with. He isn't even two and he's car obsessed, everytime he sees my Supra he walks round it twice, saying 'cool car'. 'Daddy's car' were amongst his very first words :D He's also been good fun today, but he's now fast asleep :)

Definitely a daddy's boy

*** TOP TIP OF THE DAY ***

I used to work weekends and have two days off in the week. This meant I got stuck 'looking after' Jemma our youngest while my Mrs was at work.

Instead of changing her nappy I just left her in the same one all day and then 10mins before my Mrs was due home I stripped Jemma down, stood her in the bath and kind of power washed her with the shower. Worked a treat every time. Saves money on nappys too!
