Why does my speedo only show 110mph?

Gooday, Since i picked up my Supra(coming up 1 year now) the speedo has only read 110mph. Why is this? Also the light behind the speedo is alot dimmer than the rev, petrol and heat dials. Im thinking maybe it has'nt been converted from kph to mph, But someone might have just slung a mph speedo over the kph one. Whats needed for me to get the 180mph speedo? Would like some nice white dials.

Sombody has been lazy and stuck a mph dial over the kph one instead of converting it properly. You need a kph dial (the stock one is probably behind your mph one) and a speed convertor. Get a decent one that has a 1:1 output too or your speed sensitive power steering will be wrong. The Thor one is the one to get.
