Jake
I've got sky in three rooms. The sky box in our bedroom has a TV Link and an aerial cable running to the TV down here so I can watch Sky and change channel etc down here as if I had a sky box, but I'm actually using the skybox in the bedroom. Works well. They sell TV Link in B&Q for about £15. You'll need some aeriel cable as well of course.

Works well. Almost the same setup here, got Sky+ box downstairs with a tvlink to our bedroom and 2 multiroom boxes in the girls bedrooms. The tv link is a great idea but you have to remember to switch the RF output on on your Sky box to get it to work and also your cabling has to be good all the way to the tv link, other wise it wont work.
