Lewis
All - the engines on the NA's are all the same. Obviously it may be more if modded, or less if not maintained.
carl0s
Apart from the >=97 VVTi's of course which have a little more power.
Mike
was there a SZ-R like there was a lighter GZ-R...?
Ian R
was there a SZ-R like there was a lighter GZ-R...? There was an SZ-R but wasn't lighter just a higher spec and came with leather and ABS was standard on them where it was an option on sz. Afaik there was not a GZ-R was an RZ and RZ-s
carl0s
was there a SZ-R like there was a lighter GZ-R...? Yes. I think the main differences were 6spd manual box and a limited-slip diff.
Ian R
Yes. I think the main differences were 6spd manual box and a limited-slip diff. Not all sz-r had a 6 speed box

Rayman
It was only the facelift 96+ SZ-R that had the 6-speed!
RobSheffield
Nope its like a lucky dip only found out my TT had LSD after 6 months of owning Same here its Jspec, with UK spec brakes, LSD and facelift lights on the front very odd (although the lights could be changed i guess)

Bobbeh
I'm pretty sure the SZ-R was the lightest Supra variation.
Mike
So I actually say that 'I' was right, and Ian R, the god of all things Supra knowing is in fact 'wrong'....? edit :sorry about that!
Scooter
Right i will be getting a supra non-turbo just would like to know if all the non-turbos have 220bhp if not which one would be best.cheers They are all the same power but as has been said i'd get a SZ-R version. There is a facelift white 6 speed on the trader now. Its got the big brakes is a 6 speed and is under £6K. There is also a Gunmetal one thats newer and has REAS suspension and thats just under £7K Both these cars would be a great buy IMO and would be well worth the extra £1500-2000 than a L/M reg prefacelift car.
