SupraStar 3000
Just got home after hiring a canal barge for my dads 60th birthday. I really enjoyed it Sooooo relaxing and easy to unwind. Even the lock gates were fun. Funny though,.. as we cruised along the back of peoples gardens I spotted a silver Supra with a Top secret bumper being worked on my a group of lads. It was in mountsorrel, Anyone here?

Charlotte
One of my clients was moving from a house into a barge the other day. She said it was so nice to live so freely. I'm not sure myself but I've always wanted to have a go.

SupraStar 3000
look at it this way.. - great fun - no taxi's - river goes from pup to pup - you don't need accommodation - you can't get done for drinking and driving. best part is reenacting apocalypse now. Charlotte
And safe too apparently. My friend and her family used to go on a barge every year. Her parents used to 'park up' go to the pub (with barge in sight) and leave her and her brother to sleep!
Jezz
Oi cheeky fecker! lol. It was a bit of a pot/kettle/black comment actually. I live in Harborough!
Pete
Canal drifting is great. You can get as pissed as you like and still drive. Ideally you need to be about 50 and have a mangey cross bread dog and a walking stick carved in a humourous shape to do it properly though. (..and don't forget your pack a mac!)
