Guest spr
Hi, just a quick question. I just had parts of my car resprayed including the front bumper, and wilst I'm happy with the job I've noticed that they have hit all the bits 'n' bobs inside, includeing something that looks like some sort of sensor (see pic). Does anyone know what it is? And does it matter if it's covered in paint? http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/5237/suprasz4jf.jpg

n00b
thats where the detachable fuel tank bolts onto on long journeys.... when it hits empty you press the red button and it drops to the road to reduce weight ... it saves on stopping so much n00b
Jezz
Outside temp sender i think. Airbag sensors are yellow boxes mounted on the outside of each inner wing.

Darren-K
This is the LGS,. "LASER GUIDANCE SYSTEM", it was only fitted on certain models between 1993 and 1997. it judges the distance of the car in front to stop you hitting it,. leaving the driver time for a good couple of hours sleep.
