Thats not entirely true. In the 'old days' DEF had permission to use the car park past the normal shut-off time at 9pm. However the new chaps that run the meet do not. The security firm will turn up at 9pm sharp to shut the gates, so make sure you don't leave your car parked up while visiting B&Q That said they are quite understanding and last time asked nicely for us to move on without fuss.
