Kev.O
I've just noticed that Tesco's in Bradley Stoke Bristol are now selling the 99 RON petrol. Bargin if you shop there aswell and spend £50 or over, as you'll get 5 pence off a litre

leelbuk
Think it was 97.9 (thats what 99 octane costs from tescos in weston-super-mare) Was weary of trying it but glad I did - Yum Yum... Supra like Tesco 99!
Nick1980
97.9?! I was sure it was around that price where I am, but they must've put it up recently, cos I visited today and Dunstable tescos is charging 102.9!!! Just as I'm about to pick up my first supe this weekend...
Andy Supra
How do you get 5p off a litre? I whacked £55 in yesterday 101.9p and didn't get 5p off?
leelbuk
You have to spend £50 or more actually in the shop on food and drink etc and they will give you a receipt from the till so you can claim your 5p off. Hope they haven't put prices up here, was enjoing 99 RON for that price!

leelbuk
No Martin, is it watered down/full of crap?
Lucifer
As far as I can read, Legally it is 99 RON but it starts with a lower grade fuel. back to back tests prove that Optimax gains more power.
Andy Supra
Must admit I read that as well. Optimax is still the best for performance.
leelbuk
Could you damage the engine then if you use Tescos 99? Is there a risk of detonation with Tescos 99?
