Ian W
hired Initial D: Drift Racer from Blockbuster the other night for only 99p and have to say it's one of the best 99p's i've ever spent. yeah the acting is dodgy as hell and yeah it's subtitled but for under a quid it kept me interested for as long as it was on and the cars looked so much better for the lack of dodgy graphics etc slapped all over them. when you consider that i paid six times as much to see Tokyo Drift this was a bloody bargain. only thing is i soooooooooo want to visit japan now
TT88 HKS
hired Initial D: Drift Racer from Blockbuster the other night for only 99p and have to say it's one of the best 99p's i've ever spent. yeah the acting is dodgy as hell and yeah it's subtitled but for under a quid it kept me interested for as long as it was on and the cars looked so much better for the lack of dodgy graphics etc slapped all over them. when you consider that i paid six times as much to see Tokyo Drift this was a bloody bargain. only thing is i soooooooooo want to visit japan now I've got the DVD about 6 months ago, by chance i was going to China Town with friends on Chinese new year then we're going to some gift shop to buy stuffs for family and friends. At that time we didnt no this film gonna out in UK cinema and all the eps is were in animation. The DVD got 2 disc and its a original DVD from Japan, 1 is the the movie, the other is Special Features. The price is cheap, i thinks £10 at that time ( because on Chinese New Year, all gift's prices have discount). Acting and story line is all about real Racing and Driffting with spirit, doesnt link with roberry, thieft, gangs... as like cheap and fake entertaiment F&F, 2F2F and now Tokyo driff! The film doesnt show alot about character as in animation but its pullin us to all the racing screen, skills, tech...in every single race. Its Cool! Main character Takume-san with his dad's AE86 is off the hook!
