Polemarch Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 I have a 100% stock Supra with a Panasonic CD tuner (nothing fancy). I am getting nothing from the boot mounted sub (stock sub btw) and the remaining speakers seems very tinny. I have to turn the bass up to +16db (maximum) to hear any bass at all. Any ideas what the problem could be? The CD Tuner is new but I've only owned the car a weeks. Is somethign not connected properly? Any ideas on what I can do without spending a fortune?? Thanjks. Ben-san Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 Sounds as though the stock amp has been bypassed, a thing most people do when they install a new HU. If you've got the time, remove the dash panels and you should see two unused plugs down the left hand side, which confirms this. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
