I guess the fact it is heat resistant would mean a very high temp required, probably more than I have @ home are carbonfibre bits that are bent done so during the construction process? TLicense Posted July 11, 2006 Share Posted July 11, 2006 Depends how much you want to bend it. You can usually form it a little by heating it up with a hot air gun on the hottest setting. It won't bend by much though, but then that's dependant on the lay-up. Yes carbon fibre is generally shaped during the "construction" or laminating process.
