After washing my car 2 days ago, i've noticed that the passenger side window does not want to move up or down ? I've tried using both the drivers and passenger switch but its not having any of it...

Any ideas chaps ?

(The cars at CW's tommorrow, so i'm sure he'll be able to look at it (Hopefully!))

Thanks.

My MK3 did that.. driver/passenger switch stopped working, but both would magically work if I had the passenger switch pressed on a very specific angle (ie, if rather than moving the switch up or down to move the window, I'd just press on the switch in the middle), which must have made the circuit complete. When it was like this, the drivers switch worked again until somebody else touched the passenger switch. I guess a loose wire.

It did happen after I washed it though :)

Insult Noted, due to the fact that you can't turn off the window motors in a soop.

Ti's more than likely water running into the motor or switch during washing. Take the door trim off and take a look.

I know what you mean, a mate from work was in the passenger seat when I did a (not entirely intentional) powerslide pulling onto a main road. He whacked his head on the roof. Whoops :innocent:

When I went into work this morning I was told that the sound of my new exhaust (Nurspec) stopped a meeting dead when I started the car yesterday lunchtime :D

Sorry, back to the topic...

James.

LOL, probably the same spot my bosses head hit then! :p (he did ask the question "what sort of power?" - he made me powerslide round the roundabout and tank slap him into the door!)

Plus I can hear mine start from the car park with all the triple galzed windows shut!!  The bonuses of a de-cat and Nur!!

Ben..

P.S. When you next going to Mr Nice's?
