Homer
Still working here mate I work whatever hours the job requires, though it mostly 16x7 and therefore am almost always online. Though I'm a contractor (7 yrs) my job is rather interesting and is helping build a huge stepping stone when it ends. No holidays though. Haven't had a single day off on hols or any sick days since I started at 22 yr old; inc UK bank holidays. Repeat after me.. keep thinking long term; keep thinking long term; keep thinking long term....

Jake
Still working here mate I work whatever hours the job requires, though it mostly 16x7 Do you mean 16hours a day, 7 days a week? AT I.T. CONTRACTOR RATES? When's the Lambo being delivered?
Homer
Do you mean 16hours a day, 7 days a week? AT I.T. CONTRACTOR RATES? When's the Lambo being delivered? Unfortunately not. £17 per hour at 52 hrs per week (no more). Its a shite contract but the experience is 2nd to none (I solely manage a €4.5m pa outsourcing deal). This companies mad though, half the major deals are run by contractors on discount jobs.
Jake
Blimey Darryl, I was on more than that as a Permie. GTF out of there! edit: More per/Hr I mean, was less per week cos it was less hours. x52 hours is good money but it's long hours mate. Charlotte
Are you all single? - If not, do you ever get to see your families? I can't cope with doing the whole night shifts thing. Did it once or twice and felt sick most of the time. Seems like you guys work a hell of a lot of hours for not that great money?
